After her turn for the worse moving from the south to New York City in Devilís Advocate, youíd think that Charlize Theron would have learned her lesson, but such is not the case. Theron stars here in The Astronautís Wife as Jillian, the wife of an astronaut. The astronaut in question here being Spencer (Johnny Depp). After a particularly taxing mission into space, Spencer returns a changed man. Depending on whom she listens too, Jillianís husband may be a space creature. Oooooh! Then the couple moves to New York City and things get worse. Depp phones in his performance in The Astronautís Wifeówho would have recommended Depp in the role of a brooding stranger?óand Theron doesnít do much better in the lead.
