Starring Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silverstone, et al. Released to DVD on July 27, 1999.

Alicia Silverstone rose to prominence in Hollywood after her performance in 1995ís surprise hit Clueless. Silverstone was perky, delightful and disarmingly cute in her role. Since Clueless though, Silverstone has been just that, starring in numerous B-thrillers like The Baby Sitter, Excess Baggage, and Batman and Robin, playing a variety of rich, spoiled brats. In Blast From the Past, Silverstone returns to the genre that made her a star in the first placeóthe affable romantic comedyóand, with Brendan Fraser, turned this film into an entertaining date movie. Fraser stars as Adam, a man who, thanks to an enormous miss understanding, has been living with his parents in a bomb shelter for the last 30 years. Surfacing from the shelter to get more food, the innocent Adam meets and falls for Eve (Silverstone), a somewhat well off valley girl. The comedy here is fun and clean with Fraser, Silverstone, Mia Farrow and Christopher Walken turning out engagingly lite performances.
