Vonnegotís characters are uncommerically diverse and eccentric, and the situations he places them in arenít readily identifiable to the grand majority of filmgoers. Breakfast of Champions is a Kurt Vonnegut story. Therefore, Breakfast of Champions is a rather miserable movie to watch. Bruce Willis stars as Dwayne Hoover, the owner of a very popular used car dealership in the Midwest. Everyone in town wants to be Dwayne HooverÖ except Hoover himself, who wants to kill himself. Aimless and unfunny, Breakfast of Champions had a grade A cast, including Nick Nolte, Glenna Headley and Omar Epps, and a grade F plot.
