Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gabirel Byrne, et al. Released to DVD on April 18, 2000.
I thought it would be a long time before I saw the day when a co-star of Arnold Schwarzenegger's would make Schwarzenegger's own acting performance appear fluid and realistic. However such was the case here in End of Days, with Ms. Robin Tunney acting opposite the ex-Terminator. Arnold stars here as some ex-cop who happens to stumble upon a case involving Satan's return to Earth in order to impregnate a chosen woman (Tunney) and cause the end of the world as we know it. The acting here, as mentioned previously, was horrifically bad and Andrew Marlowe's script an abomination in bad dialogue and contrived occurrencesóArnold's character actually deduces the name of Tunney's character by reasoning that if "Christ is in New York, his/her name would be Christine York. The dark, dismal, Blade Runner rip-off sets did nothing to set this film apart from any direct-to-video horror flick. This is as bad an Arnold film as there has been in quite some time.
