Starring Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, et al. Released to DVD on December 15, 1998.

Mel Gibson and Danny Glover return yet again as Los Angeles detectives Riggs and Murtaugh. Murtaugh is the family man, while--Hell, there are people in eastern portions of Botswana who know who Riggs and Murtaugh are already. Rene Russo makes her second Lethal performance as Gibson's pregnant girlfriend, and Joe Pesci his third as the alternating funny and annoying Leo Getz. Chris Rock makes as a younger detective and Chinese superstar Jet Li drops by as the villian of choice. There is no real plot per se, just lots of humorous banter and entertaining car chases that take place between the aforementioned people. I will be the first to admit that screening a movie with the number '4' playing an integral part in the title, an honor previously only bestowed upon Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th series'. I definitely wasn't too thrilled about the idea of them making, let alone me seeing another Lethal Weapon movie. But, try as I might, I just couldn't help myself; I really, really enjoyed watching this film. Lethal Weapon 4 also contains one of the best car chases ever captured on celluloid. A tad boggy at times, this was genuinely enjoyable.
