Starring Bridget Fonda, Kiefer Sutherland. Released to DVD on November 9, 1999.

Linda Dade (Bridget Fonda) is your standard unappreciated and wronged wife. Her husband (Hart Bochner) beats her, abuses her and repeatedly tells her he loves her-you know what I'm talking about because you've seen it before. Suddenly, when her husband turns up dead in a suspicious car accident, Linda is the prime suspect. John Box (Kiefer Sutherland) is the cop who wants to look after Linda. This holds your interest to a degree, but suffers greatly from the fact that you've seen this whole plot before in numerous other films, most notably in the form of Sleeping with the Enemy. The acting is poor, the direction isn't very good and the screenplay is filled with the kind of gaping holes you just want to plug with corks.
