Starring Nicollette Sheridan, John Ritter, et al. Released to DVD on May 25, 1999.
The tone of this film felt like something along the lines of a low-budget, Canadian sit-com, but, dammit, I actually enjoyed watching Dead Husbands. John Ritter and Nicolette Sheridan star as Dr. Carter Elston and Alexandra Elston respectively, a married couple with some problems in their relationship; he loves her, she wants to kill him. When Alexandra meets two other women who have expressed similar feelings about their own wealthy husbands and learns of a sort of chain letter method of having her husband killed without her getting caught, she quickly signs on. Ritter is charming in his role, and Sheridan plays ๋the bitch' to perfection. As fluffy, light films go, Dead Husbands was pretty entertaining.
