Stealing a page from Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi and the rest of the crew involved in the making of Evil Dead II, Idle Hands focuses on the life of high schooler Anton Tobias (Devon Sawa) that is quickly turned upside down when something evil takes possession of his right hand and begins killing people. Seth Green and Elden Henson are somewhat amusing in their co-starring roles as Anton's brain dead, best friends, but Idle Hands itself seems like nothing more than a reason to release another soundtrack filled with alternative rock performances.
