The most confusing of all 1999's video release, Lulu on the Bridge is a "cautionary?" tale about jazz saxophonist Izzy Maurer (Harvey Keitel) who finds a rock that turns an eerie blue and levitates in the dark and the girl (Mira Sorvino) he then meets. With aóconspiracy?ósubplot involving Dr. Van Horn (Willem Dafoe) and an ending it would be hard to classify as either lucid or sober, watching Lulu on the Bridge felt like a complete waste of time as I got cheated out of two hours of my life. Even the production company's publicity department didn't have an explanation for this film, deferring that "the movie is up for personal interpretation".
