RPM is a European produced, direct-to-video film that is quite similar to a bad two-hour episode of Knight Rider. With a plotline exactly like that of Jerry Bruckheimer's Gone in 60 Seconds, Luke (David Arquette) has to steal a certain amount of cars in a certain amount of time or risk incurring the wrath of the proverbial Mr. Big. Originally made in 1997, there is a very good reason that this film has sat on the shelf for a whopping three years. It is a pathetic attempt to capture some dollars from the current car-stealing craze, jump started by the aforementioned Bruckheimer event.
