And should you watch this movie, you will be. Just two years ago, actor Norm MacDonald turned out an amusing performance in his crude, amusing, low-budget vehicle, Dirty Work. His albeit limited acting abilities were put to good use in the movie's simplistic plot. One film down the road here in Screwed, it is apparent that MacDonald's talent has somehow regressed. He stars as Willard Fillmore, a servant to a rich, spoiled old woman, Miss Crock (Elaine Stritch). Learning that he is to be fired on Christmas after giving Miss Crock 15 years of good service, Willard concocts a very stupid get-rich-quick scheme that involves kidnapping Miss Crock's dog with the help of his friend Rusty (Dave Chapelle). Sophomoric to a fault and poorly acted even for a MacDonald, Screwed is a horrific movie for first time directors Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski.
