This has got to be one of the stupidest movies Iíve ever enjoyed watching. Like every guy in the world, and then some, Marty (Mike Binder) has dreamt of the day when he could sleep with two women at the same time, namely his wife, Laura (Mariel Hemingway) and another woman. After several years of Woody Allen-like persistence Laura agrees to try the threesome. The experience is okay for Marty, but it is GREAT for Laura. So, while Martyís obsession for the menage et trois subsides, the seed has merely been planted for Laura. And thus proceeds Lauraís attempts to woo and bed another woman. This topic seemed in alarmingly poor taste upon initial contact, but I couldnít help but laughing at some of the dialogue contained within The Sex Monster. Iíd like to be able to tell you I was drunk while watching thisóany excuse at all, reallyóbut I wasnít, and still found it somewhat entertaining.
