Starring Steven Weber, Craig Bierko, et al. Released to DVD on December 8, 1998.

Evan and Richie Maxwell (Steven Weber and Craig Bierko) are two cousins who travel to Atlantic City to do a bit of gambling. At the casino, Richie, down to his last quarter, borrows 50¢ from Evan to play the 75¢ slot machines. A pull of the handle later and Richie has won of $436,000. Euphoria sets in for the two and remains until a slightly bitter Evan realizes that Richie wouldn't have won anything minus the 50¢ he gave him. And thus the film's dilemma arises: what is the etiquette regarding winning a jackpot with borrowed money? Evan wants 2/3's of Richie's earnings, while Richie thinks that giving Evan $10,000 should cover the 50¢ he was loaned. Ultimately, this feud leads to the removal of a prominent, sit-com actor's testicles, divorce, the death of a loved one, and a homeless man's ownership of a new BMW. Sour Grapes' writer/director Larry David (Seinfeld) is very adept at weaving seemingly unconnected events together in a most humorous fashion that continually ups the ante, until the movie's climax approaches and sorts out all of the twists at hand. Despite this film's occasional tangential lapses, I enjoyed this movie immensely.
