Given the appallingly bad title of this film, it may come as a bit of a surprise to learn that the actual movie itself is a rather intriguing mystery. Al Benjamin (Joe Pantoliano) is a New York City tax investigator. Unhappy with his life, his social standing and his job, Benjamin stumbles across a serious tax evader and a couple of messy murders and becomes rejuvenated. When he partners up with Joseph Romero (Wade Dominguez), a rather unwanted rookie member of the NYPD, the two jump head first into tracking down the tax evaders and work the case like Clapton works a guitar. There aren't too many selling points in this direct-to-video number other than the interesting nature of the plot. Written and directed by Avi Nesher, the circuitous nature of a police and IRS investigation is aired, and the method Benjamin and Romero use to get to the bottom of things is slightly off-beat, which, thusly, adds to the mystery.
