Starring James Woods, Daniel Baldwin, et al. Released to DVD on February 9, 1999.
James Woods is a counter-culture stud. Starring here in Vampires, things are no different. Woods plays Jack Crow, your run-of-the-mill vampire slayer, looking for the master of a vampire den (Thomas Ian Griffith), who is in turn looking for a piece of scripture that would allow vampires to survive direct exposure to sunlight. Director John Carpenter uses some interesting Tex-Mex settings and visually stimulating on-screen vampire killings to spice this one up into something quite entertaining. This is pure eye candy and I mean that as a good thing.
